Ladybugz Slings 'n' Things

Ladybugz Slings 'n' Things likes to use all natural fabrics. We prefer linen, bamboo, silk and cotton. They are all very light and breathable for you AND baby.

Please contact us if you have any other questions about fabrics or if there is something unique you would like us to create for you! Also, if you don't see a fabric you like, just ask, we may have it available and just haven't had the time to list it :)

Cotton is very popular. It is soft and breathable. The only downside is the pesticide use in it's production. But at least it isn't man-made with chemicals or plastics. Cotton is probably the most popular fabric used today. Usually shrinks when washed.

Polyester is a man-made fabric containing natural and synthetic chemicals. It is very strong and durable, resists wrinkles and has minimal shrinking.

Linen is a very strong and natural fabric made from flax. It will not tear and is very durable. It is also very breathable and cool for summer or great for moms/babies who tend to get warm very easily. Linen softens more with each wash.

Rayon is a man-made fabric made from wood pulp. It's texture is similar to linen.

Silk dupioni is a light and airy fabric. It is naturally made by the silk worm and is breathable. It is soft and shimmery. Silk slings look great when out for a special occasion, or even with a pair of jeans! All of my silk is usually prewashed on a cold/delicate cycle. Please hang to dry!
